Getaway driver Wah Dee is forced to kidnap a young woman to escape from the police. Their chance encounter sets a love story in motion, until the girl's parents try to put a stop to the relationship by sending her to a school abroad. Alternating between action sequences and tender moments of burgeoning romance, producer Johnnie To and director Benny Chan have delivered a film considered one of the best Hong Kong-style action romances.

An action-packed love story between an underworld criminal and a wealthy heiress, which grew into a classic of Hong Kong cinema.

A Moment of Romance

A Simple Life

As Tears Go By

In Hong Kong, Japanese tourist Tokio meets a 15-year-old girl and her grandmother, who stayed behind while the rest of their family emigrated to Canada.

Autumn Moon

Boy meets girl in the bustling Hong Kong of the early nineties. Director Wong Kar-wai fuses big-city life, crime, romance and the music of The Mamas & the Papas into a spellbinding dream-like music video.

Two unnamed police officers are suffering from broken hearts. One fights his heartbreak with running, while the other is so consumed by his girlfriend's departure that he fails to notice that snack bar worker Faye is head over heels in love with him.

Nineties romance and plenty of _California Dreamin'_ in the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong.
